Welcome to my first blog!

Being a secret pastel artist is great fun. You play with lots of colours every night, create ‘stuff’ that makes you happy, and watch the pile of pastelmat card grow each day around you. And when you have been doing it for a couple of years, it could make your home unliveable (for non-artists).

So one day, you pluck up the courage to get a few framed and you show them at a local art fair. The response is encouraging and one piece is sold – making it from my floor to the walls of a lovely client. And, a couple of months later we have a website plus ….my first commission!

This is Lacey, the recently deceased, much beloved pet of friends in the village. The original has been sold but limited edition prints are available.
